Mr. Gerry C. Brooks was recently appointed Chairman of the NGC Group of Companies by the Cabinet of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He is the retired group Chief Operating Officer of the regional conglomerate and publicly held group, ANSA McAL.

Mr Brooks is an Attorney at Law and has served as the Vice President of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago for the past three years. A graduate of the Hugh Wooding Law School and the University of the West Indies, he was recently awarded the title of “Distinguished Alumnus of the University of the West Indies. Mr Brooks is also a graduate of Columbia University where he obtained an MBA, Dean’s Honour Roll. As a former Deputy Chairman of the Caribbean Court of Justice Trust Fund, he also chaired its Finance and Investment Committee for ten years.

A regional thought leader, he is the President of the Family Planning Association. He has been honored by Rotary International, his Alumni, Queen’s Royal College and other key institutions in Trinidad and Tobago and abroad. He is also a member of the Standing Energy Subcommittee of the Cabinet of Trinidad and Tobago.
